FMS Indie Festival returns to the stage of the world famous 100 Club. A fantastic line up for 2012, includes; an eclectic mix of musical styles, to suit all tastes. Cutting edge electronic, indie funk, fender fueled guitar pop, soaring sixties influenced beats with a 21st century twist. Dark ghost pop, soulful mellow tunes mixed with edgy dancing vibes that will energize your dancing feet. Live the best new sounds from across the North and South of the UK.
Rave underground online reviews, passionate live performances, with a new single released, the I.D are an exciting new band set for great things and are set to deliver their own intense slant on the post punk-pop manifesto. “The I.D, sail there own emotional course. Indie pop, surf rock and new wave can all be summarized quite simply within a few artists, but it’s when the genres mix with the heavier and more textured alternative rock / post-punk, that the outcome becomes spectacular.
Violet Bones, (Cambridge): Fender fuelled guitar Pop Punk, rabble
rousing stadium appeal. Violet Bones , just successfully completed
their first UK tour and signed a deal for the European release of
their album ‘Decline of Vaudeville’. They are getting great tastemaker
reactions at press/online blogs, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Introducing,
Kerrang!, Q and XFM. A fierce DIY ethic and constant touring across
the UK has earned them support slots with punk heroes New York Dolls
and Ash. On home turf their following is loyal and raucous.
MoonJets, (London) : Soaring anthems, killer melodies, Sixties
influenced beats with a 21st Century twist, With previous acclaimed
live performances at V festival, a new management team and new songs
in the works, they are currently tearing up the London scene with
there own infectious brand of guitar power pop.
Box of Ghosts, (London) : Dark Ghost Pop, soulful tunes, mixed with
well crafted edgy dance vibe. , recent High profile shows at KOKO, the
haunting vocal is pure soul that raises the bar of this music, which
is soon grace the pages and airwaves of the national music press.
These are friendly ghosts, the music may just be the antidote to
austerity, they make you feel you can live forever.
James Page (London) Urban troubadour, a hit across bard and clubs,
