Led by musical director Ash On Sax, Beyond The Playlist unites 13 of the most distinguished musicians in the sessions industry. Alongside well-known favourites, you’ll explore musician’s picks and deep cuts from Stevie Wonder, Jill Scott, Tom Misch and more.
Set in London’s timeless 100 Club, Cyndeo Events is proud to present this showcase of technical brilliance from a selection of handpicked musicians and a stellar orchestration not to be missed. As well as celebrating some of the greatest hits, Beyond The Playlist aims to also introduce audiences to a deeper range of music. Often overlooked by performers – on account of their complexity and B-Side status – here these pieces are brought centre stage, performed to the highest calibre with lush strings, a horn section, five distinct vocalists and virtuoso saxophone from seasoned artist Ash On Sax.
A journey through neo-soul, jazz, funk and alternative R&B, each of the tracks on offer has been reimagined with fresh arrangements and a moment for each musician to shine. For those with a healthy musical curiosity and a love of spectacle, this is the show for you.
