They released two albums “Kettle” (1987) and “Crocodile Tears” (1988) before splitting in 1989. The newly reformed group also now feature Andy Strickland of The Loft & The Caretaker Race.

The Waltones are also reforming for this short UK tour. Hailing from Manchester, the band released four classic singles “She Looks Right Through Me”, “Downhill”, “The Deepest” and “Spell It Out” on Medium Cool Records and one album in 1989 before splitting the following year, Guitarist Mark Collins went on to achieve worldwide success with his next band, The Charlatans.

Rodney Allen was label-mates with The Chesterf!elds at the Subway Organisationwhere he released one album “Happysad” (1987). He later joined the Blue Aeroplanes.

Dai-Nichi are Seiko Nemoto (Bass and Vocals) and Yuko Yamasaki (Guitar and Vocals). Together they play a form of artpop/postpunk with echoes of bands like Gang Of Four and XTC.
